Do-ers of the Word

"because you have listened to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep all His commandments which I command you today, to do what is right in the eyes of the LORD your God." (Deuteronomy 13:18 NKJV) God wants you to listen to His words. He also want you to not only to listen to them, but also to act on them. This is what is pleasing to Him. God is not just telling you something because it sounds good and it's a nice thought. He wants you to go out into the world and change it for the better! There's a reason He commands, not suggests. God tells us to "be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." (James 1:22 NKJV) The Holy Bible tells us many things to do and if we only do one new thing each day we will gradually change both the world and our lives for the better. And, that's an awesome thought!! Love, Beau

Beau,
Great sermon!!! Sometimes I think changing the world is so much easier than changing ourselves, but with faith and obedience we can overcome!

Thanks,

You know, with all the distractions today, it's become just as hard to hear as to do the word, hasn't it! We have to keep listening so we can do.
