Always There

"No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you...Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid...These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." (Joshua 1:5b; John 14:27, 16:33) Sometimes when things happen that hurt us or cause us deep pain, even if we understand it, we don't always feel God is there for us. We feel He has abandoned us. We wonder how He could let something happen, why He won't answer our prayers, or why is He not there for us. But He is. It just doesn't always seem like it. Sometimes He's silent so that we can learn a bigger lesson from our experience, sometimes the answers don't always come in the way that we expect or want, and sometimes we're so lost in our pain and hurt we just can't feel Him or reach out to Him. But, be at peace, He is there and He's there for matter what. (And if He can overcome the world, think how much he can do for us!!) Love, Beau
Footprints in the Sand
One night a man had a dream. He dreamedhe was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path ofhis life there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the verylowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."The LORD replied:
"My son, my precious child,I love you and I would never leave you.During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
