Feed My Sheep
“Feed My sheep"...."But Jesus said to them, 'They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat' And they said to Him, 'We have here only five loaves and two fish.' He said, 'Bring them here to Me.' Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes. So they all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments that remained. Now those who had eaten were about five thousand men, besides women and children." (John 21:17; Matthew 14:16-21) Jesus said to feed His sheep. In The Holy Bible it often talks about phsycially feeding the multitudes, but one can also feed a person's soul and mind. In the parable of the feeding of the 5000, Jesus not only fed them physically but he first preached to them feeding their souls and minds. He took care of ALL their needs. Also, when he went to feed them physically he didn't count how many there were first and try to figure how five loaves and two fish were going to feed that many. He blessed the food and told the disciples to feed them...and there was much leftover. When we go out into world to share the word of God and tend to others we ask God to bless our work, and we don't look at how many there are and or how we're going to do it. We just tend to them, making sure that ALL their needs are met...mind, body and soul. This is what serving God is all about. Love, Beau
