Beau's Sunday Sermon - Prayer

rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; pray without ceasing,” (Romans 12:12; 1 Thessalonians 5:17 NKJV) No matter what your faith, prayer is a central part of it. And, it should be a central part of your daily life as well, not a “whenever I feel like, the mood strikes me, or I can fit it into my schedule,” thing. Prayer is a direct reflection of one’s spiritual life and relationship with God. Not only that, prayer changes things…not just other people and circumstances and things…but the one praying as well. If there’s something you’re thinking about, deciding about, worrying about, or just wondering about, how about praying to God about it instead. Nothing is too small or unimportant. God hears ALL your prayers! And, it doen’t have to be a formal prayer…just having a normal conversation with God can be prayerful! So, the next time you’re deciding where and when prayer fits in your life, think about these things! Love Beau
