"For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another." (Romans 12:3-6 NKJV) All of us have different talents and gifts God has given us. Some are writers, preachers, teachers, sherriffs, humorous, even kindness, compassion and the ability to listen are talents. One might be able to climb a tower especially quickly, jump really high, curl one's tail into a "Q", or be a good hunter. But here's the cool thing, even though each one of us has special gifts we still need each other to use our gifts jointly, for the good of the whole. For example, take the building of an awesome climbing tower. Most likely one, or a group designed it, then another built it, then another decided what fabric/rope was going to cover it, and in what color. THEN, yet another group/person or two had to make sure it got to us. It took a LOT just so that one tower in our homes got to us. Each had their own special gifts in the processing of that tower, yet it took everyone to create and ship the finished project. One missing group, or link, and it wouldn't happen. We may not always like someone, but we still need to try getting along and all work together We all need each other and all our gifts combined to make all that is in our world, both physical and spiritual, function properly. The Greatness of God
" Behold, God is great, and we do not know Him; Nor can the number of His years be discovered." (Job 36:26 NKJV) God is great. All you have to do is look at the mountains, a sunset, a sunrise, or the millions of stars at night. His endless grace, compassion, and forgiveness are also amazing...and more than we can fathom. The most amazing thing of all is that God has been God since the beginning of time. He was, is, and will always be God. It is hard to know everything about God, or someone, that was around long before us. But, we can start by taking time each day with Him to talk and pray with Him, and get to know God better. Just like getting to know our own family elders, we will learn lots and be eternally enriched by building that relationship! Love, Beau

How to Live
"Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble." (1 Peter 3:8 NKJV) Yesterday mom went to the store to forage for basic supplies. She was struck by a female worker who was very kind toward her. The check out person was busy and was a little slow waiting on mom, so this other person jumped in and assisted mom going the "extra mile" in the process. Mom was very appreciative. It made her think about how we should all be like her. We need to be attentive to one another, compassionate and caring, making sure that everyone is properly cared for and all their needs are met. God commands us to love one another as He loved us, and God always has time for us, and is always patient and kind...never grumbling or in a rush. He always gives us His full attention as if we were the most important on the planet, and as if we were the only person in the store. Let us always to remember that the one in front of us at the moment is the most important. And, let us always be attentive to those around us. Love, Beau

No Amount Too Small
"Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans. So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.'" (Mark 12:42-44 NKJV) You should always give all that you have. No amount is too small, at least in God's eyes. God praised the woman that gave the few coins she had, and condemned the rich for giving little. It's all about percentage. God is big on that. After all, He ask that you give back 10% of what you have (which isn't much by the way). It's amazing what God can do with so little. He took a boy's two fish and five loaves of bread and fed MORE than five thousand! If you allow God to bless what little you have to give, it's amazing what He can do with it. God's abilities are limitless. And, nothing is insignificant to Him. So, don't feel bad about the amount you have, give it all to God and allow Him to bless it into abundance! And, the more you have the more that can (and should) be blessed into abundance! Love, Beau

Praising God Continually
"...to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at evening;" (1 Chronicles 23:30 NKJV) It is good and right to continually give praise to God every day, all day, and night. There are many, many things we can give praise for. For starters, mom and I praise God every day that we found each other and share a mutual love for one another. I love my mom and having a forever home! Plus, when we look around there are friends, family, beauty of nature, new life, and lots of other blessings. If you have good health, your family has good health praise God! If you are able to pay your bills, have a roof over your head, food on the table, and clothes praise God! We can praise God for support, love, a job, forgiveness, compassion, understanding, second chances...the blessings God gives us are boundless! So, when you get up in the mornings, praise God for a good night's sleep, another day, for the beauty of the earth, and all that you have. When you go to bed at night, praise God for a good day, His help getting through the day, and for bring your family safely home and back together. Praise God! Praise God continually! Love, Beau
